Demons
In
the
story
"The
Prophecy
of
Light"
the
demons
play
a
very
special
role.
Damon
and
later
also
Fusco
have
great
influence
on
the
course
of
the
story.
The
demons
are
actually
a
very
warlike
people.
It
is
always
about
power,
rank,
honor
and
reputation.
So
the
demons
have
been
fighting
each
other
since
they
started
to
exist
and
will
surely
do
it
to
their
bitter
end.
Demons
are
mostly
male
born
to
children.
At
about
25
demons,
a
female
demon
is
born.
Despite
the
small
number
of
female
demons,
the
demonesses
are
the
least
appreciated.
They
are
usually
just
treated
like
an
unimportant
object
that
you
only
need
to
ensure
its
survival.
As
a
female
demon,
it
is
not
easy.
The
word
demon
comes
from
the
Greek
"daimon"
(spirit)
as
well
as
"daimónion"
(fateful
power,
warning
or
warning
voice,
doom).
In
the
story
"The
Prophecy
of
the
Light",
however,
demons
are
of
a
different
kind
than
often
described
in
Christianity.
They
are
not
fallen
angels
or
even
evil
spirits.
Although
they
serve
the
devil
in
the
story,
but
that
had
a
very
different
origin, as one also learns there.

Already
many
millennia
before
Satan
and
Gabriel
originated,
the
demons
already
existed.
Previously,
there
were
only
the
ordinary
mortals
who
populated
this
world.
But
a
terrible
fire
threatened
to
burn
down
a
whole
village.
The
souls
of
the
dead
did
not
want
to
allow
that
and
desperately
tried
to
take
in
the
fire
to
save
the
living.
The
fire
solidifies
in
their
souls.
They
seemed
to
burn
and
yet
not
to
burn.
The
fire
enveloped
the
soul
and
formed
a
new
body.
They
were
also
flesh
and
blood,
but
the
fire
still
blazed
in
them.
In
her
blood,
in
her
lungs,
in
every
cell
of
her
body.
However,
they
lived
again.
They
needed
air
to
breathe,
like
any
ordinary
mortal,
and
could
eat
and
drink
if
they
wanted.
The
ordinary
mortals
were
startled
by
what
had
happened.
They
referred
to
them
as
fire
creatures
born
of
the
flames.
The
fear
was
too
great
in
front
of
the
stranger
and
so
they
drove
the
demons
away.
The
demons
then
formed
their
own
people
and,
believing
that
they
were
being
led
by
fate,
called
themselves
demons.
Very
soon
they
discovered
their
abilities
and
the
thirst
for
power
woke
up.
They
started
to
fight
each
other.
However,
their
number
increased
rapidly.
At
that
time,
it
was
still
important to the demons to ensure their survival.
There
are
some
demons
that
came
later.
Today
nobody
seems
to
be
left
behind.
While
the
group
of
souls
at
that
time
emerged
from
the
fire,
there
were
isolated
souls
who
took
in
hurricanes,
tidal
waves,
or
rock
avalanches
to
protect
ordinary
mortals.
These
also
became
demons,
but
instead
of
the
flames
in
their
veins,
it
was
air,
water
or
earth.
However,
the
numbers
were
so
small
that
in
time
they
lost
their
offspring
and
the
demons
that
once
emerged
from
the
fire
became
genetically
accepted.
Also,
the
three
elements
had
a
decided
disadvantage.
The
demons
that
came
out
of
the
fire
could
eat
and
drink
or
let
it
be.
On
the
other
hand,
those
with
the
element
air
tolerated
no
food
at
all.
Neither
liquid,
nor
in
solid
form.
Water
and
earth
looked
similar.
In
the
element
of
water
they
could
only
eat
liquid
food,
whereas
in
the
element
earth
it
was
only
the
solid food.
Even the demons could n‘t live without rules. It would only
lead to constant deaths and other disasters. Thus, they also set
up a small control system.
Official demon battles - The demon battles are one against one.
Weapons of any kind are prohibited. The fight continues until
one of them gives up or loses consciousness. Nobody will be
killed. If someone interferes in the fight, the one against whom
the attack is aimed wins.
Unofficial demon battles - There are no rules here and can go
until the death.
Blood oath - At the blood oath, a demon picks up his hand and
lifts it. He/she has to keep the oath that he/she expresses or
take his/her own life. If he/she doesn‘t do it himself, the other
demons will do it. With such a break in the oath he/she no
longer belongs to the people and only deserves death.
Blood vow- The blood vow is the wedding with the demons. A
pair that enters the blood vow is connected until death. Divorce
doesn‘t exist. If you want to break up, you have to commit
suicide or kill your partner. As a companion (partner) you have
the right to kill anyone who comes too close to the partner,
flirting, wants to claim him or even attacked/injured him/her.
Taking a blood vow has many advantages, as most demons are
reluctant to attack if you have a strong or respected
companion. However, it also forbids anyone ever to kiss
someone else or something like this. Then the partner would
have the right to kill his companion or his/her lover.
In
the
meantime,
there
are
only
a
few
customs
left
in
the
demons.
The
reason
is
that
the
culture
of
the
demons
also
changed
a
bit
over
time.
However,
the
customs
that
are
left
are
likely to remain the same over the next millennia.
Admission
to
rank
-
Although
demon
children
are
the
future
of
the
race,
they
are
not
highly
regarded
in
the
demons'
society.
Demon
children
always
get
a
teacher
who
isn‘t
a
parent.
This
is
then
responsible
for
the
fact
that
his
protégé
is
trained
and
survives.
Most
of
them
are
trained
until
their
20th
birthday,
but
at
the
age
of
10
they
have
the
opportunity
to
challenge
other
demons
to
official
demon
battles
in
order
to
rise
in
prestige
and
rank.
Thus,
they
can
already
have
a
higher
rank
than
10
years,
as an example, 1,000-year-old demon.
Exclusion
from
Rank
-
Demons
are
very
intent
on
staying
purebred.
For
example,
demons
who
have
a
child
with
non-
demons
are
often
excluded
from
the
rank
system
or
placed
at
the
lowest
end,
meaning
that
one
is
practically
still
below
the
lowest
level.
Half-demons
generally
have
no
right
to
recognition of a rank. They are unworthy of it.
Destiny
-
As
in
former
times,
the
demons
still
believe
in
destiny.
Not
as
much
as
they
once
did,
but
they
believe
they
have
to
find
their
destiny.
A
demon
who
has
found
his/her
destiny
reaches
the
destiny
of
his/her
life
and
will
no
longer
turn
away
from
this destiny. Even if it meant his/her death.
The
rank
system
of
the
demons
is
divided
into
three
levels
-
the
top
ranks,
the
middle
ranks
and
the
lowest
ranks
-.
These
three
are
divided
again,
but
very
different.
There
are
also
different
rights
and
rules
depending
on
the
rank.
Ranking
is
important
in
that,
as
high-ranking
others
may
be
under
their
protection.
He
then
has
to
first
challenge
the
"protector"
before
he
takes
hold
of
the
"protégé".
For
demon
families,
it
is
generally
true
that
you
challenge
the
one
with
the
highest
rank,
practically
the
"head
of
the
family".
This
is
how
the
demons
protect
each
other.
Among
other
things
so
that
it
does
not
constantly
lead
to
deaths
among
them.
However,
this
also
means
that
often
weaker
demons
are
rejected
from
their
families, because no one wants to take responsibility for them.
Top ranks
There are only 10 demons in the top ranks. All other demons belong to the middle
or lowest layer. However, the upper layer is divided again into two halves. The top
five practically rule over the demons. Commands from the top five demons should
not be ignored. Their job, however, is above all to worry about their people
surviving. They may only be challenged by others from the top ranks to an official
demon fight, and their rank may only be challenged by them. These five supreme
demons rarely change their position. On the other hand, the five of them can be
challenged at any time by any arbitrary, no matter if middle or lowest layer. In
these positions, there are often changes, as some demons hang between middle
and top layer and fight again and again.
Middle ranks
The
middle
ranks
are
again
subdivided
into
the
upper
middle
class,
the
middle
class
and
the
lower
middle
class.
The
upper
middle
class
includes
the
demons,
which
have
the
power
to
pick
it
up
from
the
upper
layer.
Which
does
not
mean
that
they
will
ever
get
there.
Their
reputation
is
almost
as
great
as
that
of
the
upper
class,
and
it
is
reluctant
to
have
a
demon
of
a
lower
rank
deal
with
such
a
person.
The
middle
class
makes
up
the
majority
of
the
demons.
Fights
for
rank
and
reputation
are
constantly
taking
place
here,
because
everyone
wants
to
be
in
a
better
position
than
this
one.
Only
they
have
to
train
and
gain
experience.
The
lowest
middle
class
tends
to
stay
in
the
background.
A
few
dare
to
challenge
the
Demons
in
higher
ranks,
but
most
of
them
settle
for
their
position
and
are
happy
to
be
left
alone.
For
all
of
the
middle
class,
any
demon
can
challenge
them
to
official
demon battles and dispute their rank.
Lowest ranks
The lowest ranks are the eyesore of the people. A demon from the lowest ranks is not
taken seriously and has absolutely nothing to say. For most demons, this layer is just
air. But even these lowest ranks again differed in the outcast and the weak. Among
the outcasts are the demons, who have been excluded from their family ties and are
too weak to hold their own in the middle class. As they stand alone, without
protection, they try to stay out of all struggles and quarrels. The feeble-minded,
however, still belong to a family ties and thus probably have demons over them who
can protect them. Therefore, they can often assert themselves against the demons
from the middle ranks.
The
traitors,
however,
have
no
rights
at
all.
You
violated
a
principle
or
rule,
such
as:
For
example,
the
procreation
of
a
half-demon
or
the
blood-oath
was
broken
and
still
not
killed
themself.
Even
if
they
have
a
lot
of
power,
they
are
assigned
to
this
layer
and
were
excluded
from
the
people.
They
can
no
longer
dispute
anyone's
rank
and
have
no
right
to
official
demon
battles.
So
far,
there
was
only
one
demon
who
escaped
this
assignment
because
he
was
far
too
powerful
and
respected
to
be
included
in
this
layer.
His
name
was
Dimicatio
and
he
belonged
to
the
top
layer.
He
was
in
6th
place.
When
he
got
his
son
Dimidius,
a
half-demon,
no
one
dared
to
step
him down. However, this is the only known exception that has ever existed.
Baptism
-
The
demons
exist
longer
than
Satan
and
Gabriel,
as
you
can
read
in
the
story
"The
Prophecy
of
the
Light".
Before
hell
and
the
sky
came
into
being,
the
demons
had
customs
of
which
they
came
off
with
time.
One
of
these
customs
was
the
baptism
of
the
newborn.
In
the
vastness
of
the
desert,
beyond
any
civilization,
there
was
a
spring,
like
an
oasis
of
wonder
running
between
stone
and
rock
-
the
fateful
spring.
Nobody
will
ever
know
why
this
particular
source
was
named
or
chosen
by
the
demons
as
a
spring
of
fate.
But
there
was
a
piece
of
demonic
belief
hidden
there.
On
the
day
a
demon
was
born,
he/she
was
taken
to
the
spring
of
destiny
and
covered
his/her
head
with
the
spring
water.
At
the
same
time,
for
the
first
time,
they
pronounced
the
name
of
the
newborn
and
blessed
him/her
that
fate
would
be
good
to
him/her.
Only
when
this
happened,
the
demons
believed,
would
the
destiny
of
the
demon
reveal
itself.
Otherwise,
he/she
would
be
damned
to
lead
a
life
without purpose.
Death
-
Demons
don‘t
age
and
usually
don‘t
get
sick.
Still,
they
can
die
from
their
injuries,
just
like
everyone
else.
Before
the
time
of
hell
and
heaven,
demons
were
honorably
buried
by
their
family.
Here,
too,
the
spring
of
destiny
played
a
decisive
role.
The
body
of
the
demon
was
laid
in
a
kind
of
funeral
pyre
near
the
spring
of
destiny.
The
demon
was
then
lit
or
the
pyre.
The
destiny
spring
should
thus
show
the
soul
of
the
demon
the
way
into
eternal
rest
and
protect
the
soul
from
further
damage
by
other
powers.
If
one
didn‘t
do
this,
it
was
the
belief
of
the
demons,
the
soul
would walk and suffer for all eternity.
Destiny
-
Everyone
has
probably
heard
or
even
used
the
word
destiny
before.
For
the
demons
it
used
to
be
one
of
the
most
important
things
in
life.
Every
demon
had
one
destiny,
one
fate.
This
belief
is
still
partially
present
today.
It
begins
with
baptism
and
ends
with
death.
But
what
is
the
fate
for
a
demon?
Absolutely
every
demon
is
bound
to
find
its
fate,
whether
it
is
the
training
of
younger
demons
to
become
first
in
the
ranking
or
to
worry
about
the
continued
existence
of
the
demons.
Every
demon
will
eventually
find
its
destiny.
Strangely
enough,
almost
all
male
demons
felt
that
the
spring
of
destiny
had
made
them
first
in
the
ranking.
Which
led
to
too
many
fights
and
arguments.
In
fact,
only
one
could
ever
be
the
first
in
the
rank
system
and
this
wasn‘t
the
destiny
of
everyone.
Although
many
believed
that. So many demons never found their true destiny.
The
aging
of
the
demons
is
a
very
interesting
topic,
because
you
can‘t
make
a
firm
statement
in
this
regard.
The
pregnancy
is
the
same
as
for
mortals/ordinaries.
Nine
months
the
child
grow
up
in
the
body
of
the
female
demon
before
it
sees
the
light
of
day.
Demon
babies
get
mischief
and
a
small
drop
of
blood.
This
drop
of
blood
esures
that
in
the
case
of
a
blooddemon,
werewolf
or
ghoul,
the
child
doesn‘t
starve
to
death.
Otherwise,
all
demons
develop
pretty
much
the
same.
They
learn
to
crawl
after
just
three
or
four
days
and
already
walk
after
one
week.
Their
body
develops
faster
and
stronger,
making
them
much
stronger
and
faster
than
mortals.
Their
other
senses
are
developing
intensively
such
as
hearing
and
seeing.
Demons
begin
to
speak
at
a
age
of
one
month.
From
that
point
on,
they
are
also
considered
to
be
infants
and
no
longer
as
babies.
Then
they
won‘t
receive
any
mother‘s
milk
anymore.
Their
body
continues
to
evolve
until
they
finally
stop
aging.
This
happens
to
most
demons
at
the
age
of
20
to
25
years.
However,
some
demons
stop
aging
from
the
age
of
16
to
19,
and
other
in
the
age
from
26
to
30
years.
It
is
therefore
impossible
to
determine
a
specific
period
of
time
when
a
demon
will
stop
aging.
Whether
it
depends
on
certain
factors,
so
far
couldn‘t
be
determined.
Demons
are
generally
immortal
but
can
die
in
combat.
You
can
not
tell
a
dead
demon
how
old
he
really
was
at
the
time
of
his
death.
In
the
case
of
the
living,
one
can
usually
guess
by
their
behavior
in
which
time
they
belong
and
thus
estimate
how old they really are.
Demons
usually
don‘t
eat
or
drink.
But
they
can
if
they
want.
All
food
and
drink
is
instantly
destroyed
in
their
body.
The
body
doesn‘t
need
any
of
these
nutrients
and
so
the
food
in
the
body
is
simply
burned.
It
is
completely
useless.
There
are
only
three
exceptions
that
actually
need
to
eat.
For
one,
these
are
the
blooddemons,
who
have
to
drink
a
little
blood
at
certain
intervals
in
order
not
to
"starve
to
death."
Second
and
third
are
the
ghouls
and
werewolves
who
have
to
eat
raw
meat.
These
too
"starve"
otherwise.
However,
demons
can
still
taste
and
enjoy,
just
like
everyone
else,
when they eat food.
How
do
you
recognize
a
demon?
Demons
actually
look
like
any
other,
with
a
few
exceptions.
The
most
striking
feature
is
the
red
eyes.
In
demons,
even
the
pupil
is
red,
making
it
look
like
they
have
no
pupils.
Which
is
not
the
case.
Most
demons
are
well
trained
and
through
the
many
battles
they
have
often
been
scarred.
Blooddemons
are
characterized
by
their
pointed
fangs,
while
ghouls
have
consistently
sharp
teeth.
However, there are no other special features.
Demon
blood
is
a
little
different
than
ordinary
or
mortal
people.
For
one
thing,
the
blood
has
a
different
temperature,
as
with
mortals.
On
the
other
hand,
it
has
fewer
nutrients,
which
is
crucial
for
blooddemons.
A
blooddemon
would
need
to
drink
twice
as
much
blood
from
a
demon
as
a
mortal.
In
addition,
demon
blood
also
has
an
effect
on
mortals.
If
a
mortal
takes
only
a
drop
of
demon
blood,
he/she
feels
twice
as
intense
as
normal.
This
applies,
for
example, for pain, but also for caresses.
In
general,
one
can‘t
really
name
the
personality
of
the
demons
100%.
First
of
all,
you
have
to
distinguish
the
male
demons
and
the
female
demons.
Male
demons
are
always
anxious
to
give
you
strength
and
menace.
They
don‘t
want
to
come
across
witty
or
soulful.
Besides,
they
are
selfish
and
ruling.
Not
necessarily
character
traits
that
are
appreciated,
but
for
a
demon
this
is
quite
natural.
Demons
that
do
not
fit
into
this
mode
of
behavior
are
considered
unworthy
of
others.
A
joker
or
a
soulful
family
man
are
anything
but
not
welcome.
However,
there
are
exceptions.
Mostly
these
demons
are
in
the
lower
ranks.
However,
it
also
happens
that
a
demon,
for
example,
is
emotional
and
in
the
top
ranks.
Then,
however,
none
of
the
other
demons
openly
dare
to
say
anything
against
it.
Female
demons,
on
the
other
hand,
are
often
sentimental
and
don‘t
want
such
a
cold,
conceited
demon.
Unfortunately,
they
don‘t
have
much
to
say
about
it.
But
even
here
there
are
exceptions
and
some
female
demons
are
just
as
combative
and
seem
threatening, like a male demon.
Demons
grow
up
without
knowing
what
love
is.
Female
demons
learn
by
themselves
what
love
is.
Her
feelings
guide
her.
Male
demons,
on
the
other
hand,
don‘t
feel
love
as
long
as
no
one
explains
it
to
them
and
listen
to
their
hearts
and
souls.
Love
is
also
something
that
demons
consider
as
a
disability.
It
draws
too
much
attention.
A
loving
demon
is
not
a
real
demon
in
their
eyes.
But
there
are
now
and
then
exceptions
that
discover
love
for
themselves.
Often
they
are
then
in
the
lower
ranks
or
are
challenged
by
the
other
demons
so
often
that
they
eventually
land
there.
Only
a
few
male
demons
who
discovered
love
for
themselves
were
able
to maintain their rank.
Every
demon
has
black
magic.
The
magic
arises
from
the
power
of
darkness.
This
is
practically
the
source
of
black
magic.
This
magic
is
given
from
birth.
They
can
use
the
magic
to
attack,
for
example
by
creating
magic
balls
and
firing
them
at
their
opponents.
It
can
be
imagined
as
energy
balls,
concentrated
power
that
comes
to
you.
This
can
cause
bruising,
but
also
major
physical
damage.
It
depends
on
the
strength
of
the
magic
ball.
Black
magic
can
also
be
used
materially.
Thus,
demons
often
create
swords,
daggers,
whips
and
other
weapons
to
prove
themselves
in
combat.
In
the
process,
the
bundled
black
magic
materializes,
making
the
weapon
firmly
and
normal.
They
can
then
simply
dissolve this magic once again.
These
are
already
innate
in
every
demon.
Similar
to
black
magic,
they
can
also
create
fireballs
and
use
them
for
attack.
However,
they
have
to
be
careful
not
to
burn
themselves.
Actually,
demons
don‘t
really
burn.
It
only
hurts
when
they
burn,
but
they
never
really
burn.
Their
skin
may
hurt
when
actually
lit,
but
they
can‘t
burn
and
after
a
short
cooling
in
the
water,
the
whole
incident
is
forgotten.
In
addition
to
the
fireballs,
some
demons
use
the
fire
whip.
However,
this
is
not
fixed
properly.
It
is
actually
made
of
fire
and
is
often
used
in
conjunction
with
black
magic
to
give
the
demon
a
fire-free
grip.
He/she
would
otherwise
cause
himself/herself
pain.
A
very
special
ability
of
the
demons,
however,
is
the
fire
spitting.
Unwanted,
but
you
could
compare
it
smoothly
with
a
dragon.
However,
it
is
very
unpleasant
because
a
demon
feels
the
burning
sensation
in
the
throat
during
the
fire-
spitting.
If
used
too
often
one
after
another,
many
of
demons
were
hoarse
and
coughed
wildly.
Not
to
be
forgotten,
however,
is
the
possibility
of
a
hand
movement
and
a
strong
will
to
let
objects
or
even
people
like
out
of
nowhere
in
fire.
Demons
rarely
use
the
firepower
among
themselves,
as
it
has
no
great
effect
on
them.
However,
these forces often give them a great advantage over others.
In
earlier
times,
there
were
four
different
types
of
demons.
Demons
with
fire
forces,
water
forces,
wind
forces
and
earth
forces.
However,
there
were
more
"firedemons"
at
this
time
than
others.
Also,
their
genes
were
more
dominant
and
soon
there
were
no
other
species.
However,
it
still
happens
that
from
time
to
time
a
demon
is
born,
who
suddenly
has
no
firepower,
but
other
forces.
Deep
in
the
genes
of
some
demons
hidden,
the
three
other
species
still
exist.
However,
no
one knows exactly who carries such genes.
The
Airsabers
are
the
most
feared
among
the
demons.
This
special
ability
is
not
to
be
underestimated.
An
airsaber
is
a
demon
who
can
cut
the
air.
He/she
drives
his/her
hand
through
the
air
and
like
a
very
powerful
sword
blow
he/she
cuts
through
everything
that
gets
in
his/her
way.
Even
whole
trees
with
just
a
single
hand
movement.
However,
he/she
can‘t
affect
this
ability
on
objects
or
people
who
stand
directly
in
front
of
him/her.
The
movement
of
the
hand
through
the
air
doesn‘t
release
enough
pressure
to
sever
a
person
right
in
front
of
him/her
Therefore,
melee
combat
is
their
biggest
weakness.
Only
you
have
to
get
close
enough
to
a
Airsaber
first.
This
can
be
quite
problematic
under
certain
circumstances.
Besides,
they
still
have
their
normal
abilities
to
defend themselves with. Airsabers don‘t have to eat any food.
Blooddemons
are
demons
that
become
stronger
when
they
drink
blood.
However,
this
only
applies
for
about
half
an
hour
before
they
need
to
take
blood
again.
In
addition,
being
a
blooddemon
also
has
a
lot
of
disadvantages.
Blooddemons
must
regularly
take
blood
to
survive.
If
you
don‘t
do
this,
you
will
die
after
about
2
weeks.
It
is
similar
to
a
mortal
who
starves
after
2
weeks.
However,
the
blood
demon‘s
body
begins
to
burn
internally
without
renewed
blood
supply.
He/she
is
already
lost
after
a
week
without
blood,
because
the
internal
organs
are
too
badly
damaged,
but
dies
only
after
2
weeks.
Also,
certain
blood
has
other
advantages
and
disadvantages
for
the
blooddemon.
Thus,
a
blood
emon
becomes
extremely
much
stronger
(for
half
an
hour)
when
it
takes
werewolf
blood.
The
downside
is
that
he/she
is
in
pain
afterwards
if
he/she
doesn‘t
eat
raw
meat.
In
addition
to
these
disadvantages
already
listed,
there
is
still
the
problem
of
drinking
too
much.
If
a
blooddemon
ingests
more
than
3
liters
of
blood
within
half
an
hour,
it
turns
into
a
bloodshedder.
A
bloodshadder
has
fur,
which
looks
like
it
was
dripping
with
blood.
He/she
has
completely
blood
red
eyes,
no
dots
know
more
and
the
independent
thinking
of
the
blooddemon
is
suspended.
The
only
thing
that
cares
about
a
bloodshedder
is
blood.
For
this
he/she
kills
and
takes
no
consideration,
not
even
on
his
own
friends
or
family.
There
are
only
three
ways
to
stop
a
bloodshedder.
1.
Kill
him/her.
2.
Imprison
him/her
and
starve
him/her
for
six
days,
then
he/she
turns
back.
3.
He/she
drinks
30
liters
of
blood
within
2
hours.
Then
he
faints,
turns
back
and
sleeps
about
12
hours.
After
that
he
still
has
about
6
more
hours
of
severe
headache.
As
a
bloodshedder
the
blood
demon
is
three
times
as
strong
as
usual
and
for
other
demons
a
real
threat.
The
giants
among
the
demons
are
probably
one
of
the
most
feared
demons
ever.
Demons
with
this
special
ability
can
grow
up
to
a
size
of
20
meters
and
also
shrink
back
to
normal
size.
As
a
giant,
they
are
incredibly
much
stronger
than
other
demons
and
can
do
damage
on
a
larger
area.
They
also
take
attacks
was
lower.
However,
their
size
doesn‘t
just
bring
benefits.
As
giants,
they
are
slower
and
through
their
big
hands
they
can
also
escape
something.
Another
advantage
is
her
voice.
Demons
have
the
ability
to
scream
or
scream
incredibly
loud.
As
a
giant,
this
is
unbearable
even
to
the
hearing
of
a
demon.
So
you
can
hear
him
a
lot further. Giants don‘t need food.
The
term
firedemon
can
lead
to
confusion,
as
it
is
of
course
in
all
demons
are
firedemons.
However,
one
also
designates
a
demon
with
a
special
ability
as
a
firedemon.
Unlike
other
fire-type
demons,
a
firedemon
can
set
itself
alight
without
even
feeling
pain.
Even
if
other
demons
ignited
him/her,
it
would
not
hurt
him/her
in
the
least.
He/she
is
absolutely
fire
resistant
in
every
way.
From
inside
and
outside.
It
is
completely
futile
to
want
to
slow
he/she
down
with
fire.
Other
demons
would
throw
themselves
down
to
stifle
the
fire
and
avoid
the
pain.
This
demon,
however,
just
keeps
going.
However,
it
is
a
very
questionable
ability
because
demons
can‘t
burn
and
thus
doesn‘t
give
it
any
real
advantage
over
other
demons.
A
firedemon
can‘t
self-ignite
when
he/she
is standing in water or is wet. They don‘t need any food.
Shapeshifters
are
demons
that
can
turn
into
an
animal.
These
can
be
quite
normal
animals,
such
as
wild
tigers,
dangerous
crocodiles,
watchful
eagles
and
cute
rabbits
or
even
mystical
creatures
like
fire-breathing
dragons,
the
flying
pegasus
or
the
shy
unicorn.
Any
shapeshifter
can
only
turn
into
an
animal
and
unfortunately
he/she
can‘t
choose.
It
is
determined
from
birth.
So,
as
a
cute
little
rabbit,
you
have
a
skill
that
is
totally
useless
in
combat,
unless
you
want
to
run
away.
On
the
other
hand,
as
a
dragon
you
have
a
really
big
chance
to
win
the
fight.
So,
if
you
meet
a
bear
in
the
forest,
it
might
well
be
a
demon.
Who
can
say
that?
Also shapeshifters aren‘t dependent on food.
As
ghouls
demons
are
called,
which
have
completely
sharp
teeth.
Apart
from
their
special
teeth,
ghouls
are
as
strong
as
a
blooddemon
who
has
drink
blood.
However,
ghouls
don‘t
drink
any
blood,
at
least
not
to
feed
themselves
or
get
stronger.
However,
like
the
werewolves,
they
depend
on
raw
meat
and
should
eat
every
day.
A
rabbit
is
enough
for
that.
Ghouls
are
usually
very
threatening
with
their
sharp
teeth
and
must
hide
their
teeth
below
the
mortals
in
order
not
to
be
recognized.
In
addition,
any
demon
could
immediately
recognize
"This
is
a
ghoul".
Female ghouls are called ghula.
Actually,
the
name
already
says,
what
causes
this
special
ability.
If
a
person
sleeps,
the
dreamwalker
can
sit
down
next
to
him/her,
put
his/her
hand
on
his/her
forehead
and
immerse
himself/herself
in
the
dreams
of
the
sleeping
one.
Sounds
a
bit
dangerous,
but
the
dreamwalker
can
completely
influence
your
dreams.
He/she
determines
where
you
are,
what
you
do
and
what
happens
to
you.
The
bad
part
is
that
not
only
could
you
have
bad
dreams,
but
all
that
happened
in
the
dream
really
happened
to
the
body
of
the
dreaming.
If
the
dreamer
dies,
he/she
will
die.
The
only
way
to
escape
from
such
a
dream
is
when
someone
else
surprises/chases
away/kills
the
dreamwalker.
So
bothering
him/her
in
his/her plans. Dreamwalkers don‘t have to eat.
The
word
werewolf
already
says
a
lot
about
this
special
ability
of
demons.
In
fact,
they
turn
into
a
werewolf,
but
not
only
at
full
moon.
You
can
control
it
at
will.
The
advantage
of
turning
into
a
werewolf
is
obvious.
The
demon
becomes
faster,
stronger
and
also
has
much
more
pronounced
senses,
like
seeing
and
smelling.
A
werewolf
is
usually
stronger
than
a
blooddemon.
Blooddemons
have
a
hard
time
against
werewolves
unless
they
have
had
werewolfblood.
That
should
be
a
fairly
balanced
fight.
But
even
a
werewolf
has
its
disadvantages.
To
one
they
can‘t
speak
in
this
form.
Maybe
not
really
necessary
and
a
growl
and
howl
might
be
enough,
but
sometimes
it
bothers
you.
The
much
bigger
drawback,
however,
is
that
werewolves
as
well
as
blooddemons
need
to
eat.
You
must
eat
raw
meat
at
least
once
a
day.
A
rabbit
is
enough
for
that.
So
no
ordinary
people
have
to
be
killed
and
no
larger
forest
animals.
Werewolves
usually
go
hunting
at
night,
in
the
early
morning
or in the evening. During the day, they just have other things to do.
A
demon
who
has
a
special
ability
to
transform
himself
into
a
gargoyle
has
a
decided
advantage
that
almost
no
other
demon
has.
You
can
fly.
At
most,
a
shapeshifter
with
a
corresponding
species
would
also
have
this
privilege.
But
what
is
a
gargoyle?
Gargoyles
are
bat-like
creatures.
Surely
everyone
has
heard
of
these
"spooky"
statuary
on
some
old
buildings.
These
are
gargoyles.
Gargoyles
have
more
power,
but
not
the
power
of
a
werewolf,
more
like
a
blooddemon.
They
can
fly,
use
their
claws
purposefully
and
strike
powerfully.
Her/his
specialty
is
the
air
raid.
You
can
often
hear
other
demons
say
that
a
gargoyle
with
broken
wings
is
a
helpless
gargoyle.
Which
of
course
is
not
true,
he/she
could
still
use
his
general
demon
skills.
Gargoyles
also
don‘t
have
to
eat
any
food.
In
rare
cases,
demons
get
unique
abilities.
This
was
foretelling
that
a
demon
would
have
a
special
ability
that
no
demon
had
ever
had
before.
For
example,
a
demon
could
be
born
that
has
a
special
ability
to
produce
earthquakes.
Maybe
you
would
call
him/her
earthdemon
then.
This
ability
would
be
unique,
as
no
demon
has
previously
possessed
such
ability.
The
big
drawback
to
the
unique
abilities,
however,
is
that
most
demons
take
a
long
time
to
realize
what
kind
of
special
ability
they
have.
If
you
have
one
of
the
usual
special
skills,
you
can
just
give
it
a
try.
However,
the
unique
skills
are
usually
discovered
by
accident.
As
a
rule,
demons
with
a
unique
ability
don‘t
have
to
eat.
But
as
the
saying
goes,
exceptions confirm the rule.
The
term
golem
is
earned
by
the
demons,
who
can
turn
into
stone
creatures.
Your
body
is
practically
turned
to
stone.
This
also
has
advantages
and
disadvantages,
as
well
as
each
of
the
special
skills.
Like
the
werewolf
and
the
blooddemon,
the
ability
increases
the
demon.
His/her
strength
increases,
but
he/she
slows
down
a
little
in
his/her
movements
and
gets
lost
in
the
water.
Despite
these
limitations,
he/she
also
has
a
strong
defense,
because
he/she
feels
little
pain
through
the
rock.
It
would
take
a
lot
of
power
to
damage
or
even
crush
the
stones.
So
a
golem
is
also
good
to
compare
with
a
tank.
Slow
but
stable
and
powerful.
Werewolves
or
blooddemons
would
probably
bite
their
teeth
off them. Golems don‘t have to eat any food.
In
addition
to
the
general
abilities
of
the
demons,
each
demon
has
a
special
ability.
There
are
abilities
that
are
quite
common
in
demons
and
have
unique
abilities
that
no
demon
has
ever
had
before.
Once
a
demon
is
born,
it
already
has
this
special
ability.
Often,
however,
they
only
discover
in
the
course
of
their
lives
what
special
ability
they
have.
The
blood
demons,
werewolves
and
ghouls
know
it
very
early,
because
they
already
get
the
first
teeth
on
the
third
day
of
life.
On
the
other
hand,
most
other
demons
discover
their
abilities
between
the
ages
of
4
and
10.
Some
exceptions
earlier,
others
later.
Especially
demons
with
unique
abilities
often
take
a
long
time to figure out what skill they have.
